Care Leavers Scholarship
Care leavers have a less than one per cent participating ratio in higher education. The University has developed new scholarships specifically for care leavers to encourage them to take up the opportunity of a university education. Up to ten scholarships of £4,000 or £2,000, depending on academic achievements, will be available for care leavers from London boroughs. Care leavers from outside London will also be considered sympathetically for our gold and silver scholarships.
Eligibility: Students must be holding the offer of a place on an undergraduate course at the University and must have recently been in the care of their local authorities.
